Function
This is a general-purpose finishing agent applied in the pad bath alongside a fabric's other finishing chemistry. It conditions the fibre surface for a more even, predictable handle, and helps the fabric run cleanly through stentering and calendering without sticking or dragging. It is used wherever a finishing recipe needs general handle conditioning rather than a specific effect.
