Cationic Softener
A cationic softening agent that gives fabric a full, soft handle by laying down a lubricating film on the fibre surface.

Function
This product gives fabric a full, soft handle after dyeing and finishing. Cotton and other cellulosic fibres carry a slight negative surface charge, and this softener's positive charge draws it onto the fibre, where it leaves an even, lubricating film. That same film reduces static, which also helps the fabric run cleanly through later processing and sewing.

- Harsh handle after dyeing and finishing
- Static cling causing fabric to stick to itself or to machinery
- Poor sewability where fibre-to-needle friction is too high

| Compatibility | Compatible with other cationic and non-ionic products. Do not mix with anionic products, including most dyes and detergents, as the emulsion will break and deposit unevenly. |
| Storage and shelf life | Store in a cool, dry place in the original, tightly closed container, protected from freezing, as emulsion-type softeners can separate irreversibly if frozen. |
