Function
This product lowers the surface tension of the treatment bath so water penetrates yarn and fabric quickly and evenly. It is used at the start of desizing, scouring and bleaching, before the fibre is ready for further treatment. It solves slow or patchy wetting, which otherwise shows up later as uneven colour or finish.
Typical applications and what it solves
- Correcting slow or patchy wet-out on tightly woven or high-twist fabric
- Uneven pick-up at the pad mangle traced back to trapped air in the fabric
- General wetting-out step ahead of scouring, bleaching or dyeing

| Compatibility | Compatible with anionic and non-ionic auxiliaries. Do not mix with cationic products in the same bath, since the opposing charges neutralise each other and the surfactant will precipitate out. |

Handling and storage
Handle with the same care as any surfactant concentrate: gloves and eye protection when dosing, and avoid prolonged skin contact. Rinse spills with water. The product is not classified as a serious hazard, but concentrate will foam and can make floors slippery.
